Verv's Ranking System (VRS) is a ranking composed of points lost and strength of schedule played, on top of Metro League rank. At the end of the season, the scores will have finally come down to a teams total points in league play, hence being more accurate then league standings with teams being as many as 6 games ahead of another, a possible 12 point swing. With unbalanced schedules, there is no way of showing where teams are in the standings accurately based solely on Wins Loses and Ties. However the VRS does just that in a very scientific manner. A perfect score is 48.
