Day Oh! Daaaaay Oh! End of the game and we want to go home. Day, me say Day me say Day me say Daaaay Oh! End of the game and we want to go home! Work all game and we lose again End of the game and we want to go home Can't stop Minnetonka until the end of the game. End of the game and we want to go home. Come Mr. Tally Man, Tally us the score. End of the game and we want to go home. Come Mr. Tally Man, Tally us the score. End of the game and we want to go home. It's one goal, no two goals, no three for Tonka. End of the game and we want to go home. Its one goal, tow goals that is all for us. End of the game and we want to go home. A handsome team of hockey players and we must hide cuz Minnetonka won! End of the game and we want to go home. BUT… Do you believe in Magic in a young skater's heart? How the winning can free you whenever it happens And it's magic If the skating is great And it makes you feel happy like an old time movie. I will tell you about the magic but it's like telling a stranger about hockey and winning Do you believe in magic? Just go and watch for yourself, it will start with a smile and show on your face and you can't seem to find how but we believe in magic and we will blow your mind. Cuz we got by Stillwater and we still can find WE BELIEVE IN MAGIC!! But… When we woke up this morning, State was on our minds And state was on our minds. We got to skate oooh, We got to check oooh, We got goals to score. So we went to the rink, Just to win that gaaaame Just to win that game. We got to skate oooh, We got to check oooh, We got goals to score But we got through it and yeah Lakeville took a tumble Hey, we got a feeling down in our skates, waaaay down in our skates. We got to skate oooh, We got to check oooh, We got goals to score. HEY WE ARE ON OUR WAY TO STATE!!!!!!
STATE TOURNAMENT 2002-2003 Bloomington Jefferson Junior Gold A made it the state tournament this year. It was an accomplishment that was cuz the team never gave up and when the going was tough the tough got going. The team worked hard this last season as it was a team with new faces and forming a true team was happening simultaneously as the team played season games. With diligence, practice, and great skating the team worked hard to get the respect it truly deserves. We kicked off the tournament attending the state tournament banquet where all teams involved in the weekend's games were honored. The parents and coaches of this team are very proud of our team and they deserved to be honored. The first game was against a team we only saw once in the season - White Bear Lake. The game was well played and we came up short losing 4 - 3. However, we came back to play Duluth, a team we never played before. The Jaguars skated hard and the game was a great one! We won the game 3 - 2. Next came another team we only saw once before - Edina. We met them shortly after Christmas with some of our skaters missing due to the holidays. We came up short at that game. The game at the tournament was not our best as we came up short again 5 - 3. I think the team deserves a great applause for their efforts this season. They came together to work hard, skate, win and have fun. This team was a hoot to watch. They could be down and they never gave up. They never said die. They dug down into their souls and played until the buzzer ended the game. I feel this team showed skill, held their heads high, and could move quickly to the next game as if it was a new day. A skill that lots of adults in this day and age cannot display. The team also showed great team spirit and comradery when they had the number 10 jersey hanging in their midst at all games. Alex Fisher, a fallen teammate was going to be remembered. Congratulations to Mike Waterston and Kevin Leak as the team representatives to the all-star game. As I sign off this season, I have to say it was a pleasure to be a part of this team. Junior Gold A hockey is definitely an asset to the sport of hockey. The Bloomington Jefferson Junior Gold A Jaguars are one Class A act. May their spirit, team skills, and leadership carry them into the world; showing others and inspiring to attain these abilities.

In the middle of the night, we go skating in our sleep From Bloomington with faith, To Centennial in the north We must be looking for something, something sacred as a win But the river is wide and it is not easy to cross And even though we know the river is wide, we skated this evening and stood on the rink And try to cross to the winning side So we can finally find out what we've been missing from before In the middle of the night, we go skating in our sleep From Bloomington with faith, To Centennial in the north We must be looking for something, taken out of our souls something we would never lose again And that would be the winning track as before We don't know why we skate so late But now we are tired and we don't want to lose anymore We hope it doesn't take the rest of our lives Until we are at the top of the ranks again. So good bye to Centennial we thank you for the win and restoring our faith in ourselves as we head back to the promised land, Bloomington to win again and again. It's our party and we'll cry if we want to, Cry if we want to, cry if we want to, You would cry too if it happened to you No one knows where our Victory has gone and Eden Prairie left the same time Why were they holding her hand? When she's supposed to be ours? It's our party and we'll cry if we want to, Cry if we want to, cry if we want to, You would cry too if it happened to you Play all our records keep skating all nite Leave us alone for a while Till Victory's dancing with us We've got no reason to smile It's our party and we'll cry if we want to, Cry if we want to, cry if we want to, You would cry too if it happened to you Victory and Eden Prairie just walked through the door Like a queen with her king Oh what a home game surprise Victory's wearing Eden Prairie's shirt! It's our party and we'll cry if we want to, Cry if we want to, cry if we want to, You would cry too if it happened to you Bloomington 2 Eden Prairie 3
